For me, individually customizing hair doesn’t just mean delivering a requested look. It means making sure it also fits in with someones daily lifestyle, expectations, upkeep, and compliments them both physically + energetically. It means giving them something they can love and manage every day, not just when they leave my chair. I love working one on one with each client, talking and connecting, taking all these things in so I can create the best look for them on all levels. I’ve been behind the chair for 20 years and my passion and inspiration continues to transform along with this ever changing industry. Participating in continuing education is a constant source of renewal for me. I love that no matter how long I’ve been in this world, there’s always something new to learn. My favorite thing about doing hair? That moment at the end of the appointment. When my client looks in the mirror and I can feel their entire energy shift - not only looking, but FEELING beautiful, empowered, and recharged. Like they just filled their cup back up again.
